Life often feels like a balancing act between three major resources: time, health, and wealth, and rarely do we have all three at once.
In our youth, we’re rich in time and blessed with our peak health, yet we typically lack financial freedom. We dream big but may not have the means to act on those dreams, such as travel, experiences, or investment in our passions.
As adults, we gain financial stability and still maintain decent health. However, the responsibilities of career, family, and ambition often rob us of the free time we once had. The race to succeed can be all-consuming.
In our elder years, we may finally regain the free time and have the wealth we've accumulated, but our health starts to decline. The very experiences we now can afford may no longer be accessible or enjoyable in the same way.
This life cycle reminds us that we rarely get to enjoy all three simultaneously. The key may lie in recognizing this imbalance early and making intentional choices that prioritize what matters most to us at each stage.
